It must be, otherwise I am at a loss to explain how people can create something that seems cute and adorable until one shaft of light helps you set back and look at it, clearly and sanely, soberly and dispassionately, makes you realise that maybe, just maybe you crossed the Line somewhere back, ooooo… *there*

Yep – right back – no, behind that.
Yes – that is the point where you slipped from Cute right down to FUG.
To examplify:

What not to crochet: anything that takes you less time to make than the dog to dig a hole to bury it.
Oh.. and ignoring the fact that i’m completely whacked on Ibuprofen+codeine FORTE right now – Thank you to all of those who voted!!

Notice how the dog refuses to look right at the camera? I think he’s embarrassed about having his picture taken in that thing. This is so ugly. Besides, I hate lime green.

This is not only fugly, it’s cruelty to animals. No dog, not even a frou-frou poodle should have to wear a doily. Especially not one in those subtle and understated shades of pink and green. I do believer the dog will bury it first chance he or she gets.
