Have you played that Yeti game where you use a flamingo as a golf club to bash the penguin and try and scootle it as far across the savannah as you can?
There’s a whole series of games that involves the Yeti and the penguins.
And somehow, they were brought to mind by this:
(and I reckon that most teenaged boys are going to love it!)
What not to crochet: anything with a poorly positioned Mountain Range.

I believe they are the Grand Tetons.
I just found this blog and I think it just might be the best, the best, THE BEST thing I have ever seen. Hilarious. You rule.
Ooh! And matching ice blue eye shadow, too! How glamorous!
Blog walking and thought I’d pop in and say hi. Love this! Interesting hat/scarf?
Welcome mats always out, do stop in for a visit,
Sandy
I have tried and tried to resist posting about lolarusa’s comment but I can’t help it. They aren’t the Grand Teton’s, they are the Grand Tit-ons!
Good thing I wasn’t drinking something–I’d be wiping down my keyboard and screen right now. Grand Tit-ons! That’s a good one.
Gee lady, those are some perky icecaps you got there.
Give me a break. The only grand anything is in the cape itself. The girl has NOTHING to add to the grand peaks in the cape. I could see comments like this if the girl had anything to make the grand peaks look more life like. This model makes them look like the grand peaks fell right down into the valley. You should’ve seen me wearing my Chicago Bulls sweatshirt when I was pregnant. The horns & the nose were placed just so that everyone called it the charging 3D bull, lmao. The 3D fit the size exactly too LMAO.
Dear Shellie,
That’s why they are the Grand Tetons ! since it means tits in French, although it refers to the areola.
The thing is, though, I kinda like this thing…..
OK, take out the pompom thingy on the hat and make the cape a solid color and its wonderful!
Wow. Imagination was definately required for this work of….. um…… ?Art?
I actually tried this pattern (MINUS the Tetons, ty very much) but when I tried it on, it was closer to a straightjacket than anything else…. I had to drastically modify it… the pompom thing was also Right Out.
But I did get something wearable out of it
eventually
My first thought as it was loading was that it wasn’t bad at all. All you’d have to do is skip the tassel.
Then white outlined in black began to load… slowly, a poor-quality image of peaks began to materialize.
And I said to myself… “Oh. So it really is a fug.”
But I’ve gotta agree with those who say it would be fine in a solid color with no tassel. It’s funny how designers have to throw in details that ruin the whole concept.
