Use for scraps of yarn?

Sure - I know about your *little* problem. It’s ok, you’re among friends here. It’s ok to cry.

I know. Really. I do. How hard, just how hard, you find it to throw out those little bits of yarn.

We’re not here to judge (oh_yes_we_are!), all Woolpigs know that you just can’t throw out the last parts of a ball!

Those darling short lengths might come in handy!

And besides - it’s 100% Angora/Cashmere/Alpaca/Silk and every precious inch is sacred!

And I *know*, I *understand*, really, I do! that you’ve got some idea in mind to use these scraps….

but, come closer..

Got a little secret for ya!

  1. I think the child safety act should be amended to include bad crochet items. That is just cruel! I’d happily work in the bad wool usage dept.

  2. Yup. That’s so wrong to do to a little kid.

  3. I hope there’s no one there with a stick. They might think he’s a pinanta!

  4. I hope they put money away for his therapy he will need when he grows up.

  5. This vest by itself might not have been too bad…….but the pants and shoes are awful. yuck.

  6. Hey, is this where we try out for the circus? I’ve always wanted to be a clown!

  7. In another color the vest is cute, but who would think of crocheting pants?

  8. Bless his little heart… Can’t you hear his old aunts? “Let’s dress him up in a clown suit and give him a cheap ukulele”! We can only hope when he grew up and graduated law school he made sure they paid for what they did to him. Oh yeah, bad nursing home for sure.

  9. oh my gosh, I need to show this to my sons ;) I never made them anything like this & I can’t imagine taking a picture of a kid in this get-up….That’s the one you save to show the friends of the grown up kid ;)

  10. Now that’s just cruel.

To the child, of course. What’d he do wrong to be forced to wear that ridiculous getup?

  11. I just threw my scraps INTO the trash…that should constitute child neglect at the very least…

  12. Ahhh, the 1970s. When almost every crochet pattern was made for the road company of Godspell…

  13. reminds me of the yo-yo clowns some quilters make with scraps. Just missin the jinglebells on his hands and feet.

  14. This is actually a famous actor named Boris Kodjoe. I’m a fan and recognized the pic right away. I think this is pretty typical for the 70’s plus he was born in Germany…so go figure. Now, if this were a kid from this decade that would be another story.

His site is http://www.boris-world.com He is one fine piece of man, let me tell you…but he’s married so don’t get too excited.

  15. I think it’s cool.
    He’s a rockin hippie child.

  16. I love it. My kids are going to hate me, but all kids hate their parents for something.
